I wanted to revisit our preseason poll and provide some results for discussion. Have fun guys (and girls)!

Left number is the position in our preseason poll; numbers in parentheses are record, conference record (and seed if any). All playoff teams listed in bold.

You could have told me Lafayette, Butler, and Sacred Heart would be guaranteed playoff teams and I still wouldn't put them in my poll.

The only 2 CAA teams that did not receive votes were Rhody and Maine. Interesting that the poll missed the Champs.

612, that only shows the top 40. Believe me, in the preseason poll, out of 124 teams there are probably 84 that get at least 1 point.

Yeah no doubt. I don't think was in any polls at the beginning. In this poll though they were fairly immediately recognized. In Wk. 2 - 30
Wk. 3 - 22
Wk. 4 - 21
Wk. 5 - 11

and then slow crawling up the top 10 after that.

Cool. It just says above "those not receiving votes."

That Wagner pick started to look shaky when they lost to Merrimack in week 2.

One of the odd things, for me, was seeing a seeded team (McNeese) in the ORV between two teams that won two games between them.

Also, apologies for the ORV - should've annotated that better (thanks for the corrections, supe and ursus).
