There are three OVC teams ranked in both the Sports Network and FCS Coaches Poll, and all three squads (Eastern Illinois, Jacksonville State and Tennessee State) will be competing in the FCS Playoffs this season. The three OVC teams in the playoff field is a record for the OVC.
