Bethune-Cookman ends the MEAC regular season on top of the HBCU Major Division Football Top 10 poll rankings with a win over their archrival, Florida A&M to earn the conference automatic bid to the D-I playoffs. South Carolina State earned an at-large playoff bid after defeating Norfolk State. Finally, Tennessee State also earned an at-large bid.
