The University of Maine football team (10-2, 7-1 Colonial Athletic Association) earned the #5 seed in the 2013 NCAA FCS tournament and will host the winner of New Hampshire/Lafayette on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2 PM at Alfond Stadium, as announced on the NCAA FCS Selection Show Sunday morning on ESPNU. This will be the first time Maine football has hosted a home playoff game in its 121 year history.
