I'm thinking Beth will be traveling to Missoula on the 7th of December.

Defense, Defense, Defense. That's what sets the tone for our team. This should be a good match up for both teams. Glad to have the opportunity to play Coastal again. Good luck to all of the playoff teams.

Bethune losing to Norfolk State, worries me.

Bethune should have finished 11-1 this season.

I'd say that discipline should be one of the tones as well. Would hate to see Jenkins blow it iin the playoffs again.

Look at our discipline in OOC games. I agree that we need to be disciplined on both sides of the ball, but their was another major factor in the discipline in the few questionable games. The game yesterday was managed well by the referees.

Honestly R.A., that was probably the best loss we could have taken. It brought focus back to the team.

Giving Coastal the nod really a tough one to chose the winner on.

Norfolk St is better than their record indicate. They played CAA #1 tough & ODU needed OT.

Look, if a bum that got thrown out of a MEAC school and had to graduate with an online degree from Georgia State can hang out for three years, I think the Coastal fans can make it for 6 days, haha.

One of the most intriguing matchups of the first round for me. Most of the first round games will be interesting, but this one includes the #3 Scoring Offense in the country in Coastal Carolina against the #4 Scoring Defense in the country in Bethune-Cookman. Something has to give and it will be interesting to see which side breaks first.

Since this is a rematch from last year it will be interesting to see how the teams approach. I know Jenkins feels like they were the better team and that he and his team were treated unfairly by the refs.

Coastal up 14-0 quickly with only seven minutes gone in the first.

Last touchdown was a strip of the qb/runback for td. Ensuing kickoff out of bounds so the Wildcats have good field position.

Coastal seems to be playing prevent D - B-C moving the ball, including a fourth and four conversion with a nifty run from their QB all the way down to the fifteen. Wildcats settle for a field goal try, and get it. 14-3, 3:05 to go in the first.

Coastal with the quick answer as it looked like the B-C safety just fell down. 21-3, 40 seconds to go in the first.

What's the MEAC record in the playoffs again? Calls into question the whole #3 in the nation defense.

It's not like they're winless; the one fumble recovery really makes this look a bit more lopsided than it is.

Bethune-Cookman down to the four, first and goal.

Agree - bend but don't break D, limiting B-C to another FG attempt here.

FG is blocked, 27-10 still, 17 seconds in the quarter.

Fantastic effort on that third down catch just shy of a touchdown (looked like he hadn't quite secured it - I'd've given it to him).

Offsides negates that play, 17 seconds left, 1st and goal B-C.

Not needed:

Positive inflection: "We're cheering for our team!"

Negative inflection: "**** Obama!"

BCU is shooting themselves in the foot constantly...no rhyme or reason to their offensive or defensive sets. They're not staying in their lanes, focusing on their responsibilities. Better coached teams will pick that apart all day, no matter how much talent is on the other side of the field.

Has the Beth-Cook coach blown his stack, yet?

He was a lot less "energetic" than last year, but he did wander onto the field several times toward the end of the first half to complain about a call the refs had made. Haven't had a chance to hear his postgame comments yet but I'm looking forward to that.

He was very composed today and challenged the referees in the same manner as any other coach today. No issues today. Good luck next week.
