Southeastern vs Nicholls State Highlights

We were very sluggish early, after the W over Sam Houston last week, but kicked it up a few notches in the 3rd quarter. As always, Nicholls played us very hard.

We did it against Texas Southern I honestly didn't know it was possible.

Lions look good in the second half in those games I've had a chance to see. UCA should have tied them up at half but the Lions came out second half and turned on the burners. Can the Lions afford to float in the first half during the playoffs... I'm not sure they can. BUT, maybe they can get their engines started early and take out thier opponents quickly. Good luck SLU... rep the SLC with pride!

We'll be fine though we could use the bye week to recharge the batteries ... played McNeese, UCA, Sam Houston and our biggest rival (Nicholls on a short week), four weeks in a row to close out regular season.

Good luck in the playoffs to you Lions. Might be a sports rival to my alma mater, but your university does hold a special place for my family and an SELU graduation ring is a family heirloom.
