Western Carolina head coach Mark Speir took part in the weekly Southern Conference Football Head Coaches' Teleconference on Tuesday morning. Speir talked about loss to Furman in the 2013 home finale before turning all attention to this week's meeting with the archrival Appalachian State Mountaineers in the annual gridiron grudge match.
