Bethune-Cookman regained the top spot in the HBCU Major Division Football Top 10 poll rankings with a win over red hot Hampton. The win, coupled with a loss by Jackson State to Alcorn State brought the Wildcats back to #1. Tennessee State and South Carolina State continue to win as they both push for an outside shot at the Division I playoffs.
