(San Diego, Calif.) - It was Senior Day at Torero Stadium and the USD Toreros went out with a bang as they dealt the visiting Drake Bulldogs a 23-13 loss. With a very emotional few days leading up to the contest, the squad came out ready to play, and man-to-man now know in their hearts what they accomplished on the field this season. That speaks volumes for the job first-year head coach Dale Lindsey and his staff did, as well as the hard work and focus this team had the entire season. Everyone celebrated at the middle of the field afterwards as the Torero students and family members spilled onto the field to help in the celebration. USD finished the season with an overall record of 8-3.
