I think Jacksonville State has a chance, because (like Maine in 2004) the Gamecocks play good defense and I think they can control the clock with Clay Green and that ground game. The Gamecocks have been coming on strong since that loss in the OVC opener to Tennessee-Martin.

They have 2 QB's out and this guy is 3rd on the list.
The next in line is one of their receivers that has not played the position since highschool.

Beware.........................Croom has been like a volcano on his O-Lmen this week.
He didn't imply nothing dirty, but he did say he instructed his OL-men to NOT LET THE QB GET TOUCHED................DUE WHATEVER IT TAKES............HOLDING, TACKLING, ETC.
He don't have anymore QB'S.

The pressure Mississippi State is under right now may be the worst time to catch them Jacksonville but good luck.
That's a mad, determined group up there and they know under no circumstances can they lose this game or even let it be close.

They were reminded of what happened when they lost to Maine.
MSU fans were ready to burn that place down after that.
