Good news for ETSU

It doesn't happen much anymore, but in the early days was quite routine. Wofford's first game was a against a Furman team playing it's first game.

Even this year, Mercer's first game was against another startup.

Except ETSU is resuming their program. It's a bit much calling it their inaugural game when they've had varsity football in the past. Now for KSU, that's a different story.

I agree. Inaugural is being used very loosely by the Bucs.

And, of course, Mercer was not a start up either (ala ETSU)...though their wait between football games was about 5-6 decades longer than ETSU's. :)
