I think that many of you will like this play. Jon Wolf, QB for MSU-Mankato (10-0) had a 2nd and 19 and hurdles over a U of Sioux Falls defender for the first down.
I happened to be up in the press box in in Sioux Falls when it happened. The whole place let out a gasp, followed by a huge roar from the MSU coaches box.

Meh...that type of hurdle happens on a weekly basis.
That full out **** you hurdle...that's a once a season, if that, type hurdle.

I agree....the Mankato State kid breaks it down a bit, chopping his steps a little like he's doing a 5-step hurdling drill, then attacks the defender with his lead leg, displays great form with his trail leg and then lands on his lead leg without losing much momentum....
The NDSU TD run was nice, but more of an afterthought than actually hurdling a defender displaying proper form...

I like it when a ballcarrier tries to hurdle someone and the defender comes up and flips the guy onto his head.

Nice hurdle!
And why does the NCAA allow Univ of ***** Falls to use that name?

That's nice. Probably wouldn't be fun if the defender starts to stand up and the hurdler takes a helmet to his twig and berries.

Wolf was named the NSIC offensive player of the year- his teammate, Chris Schaudt, was defensive player of the year as the Mavs had another 11-0 regular season.

That was nicely done...I liked the way the two defenders collided....he's got nice form, though he floated a little more than I would like!
