Brock looked good, still throwing the ball flat footed, but was effective. Running game was key for the win, YSU just couldn't stop us. Vraa made sum great catches, Smith did get as many looks but the secondary held him tight. Overall nice game, need to clean up the d which I expect will happen this week.

Really disappointed in the crowd, the stands looked empty. And pretty passed at the TV feed from YSU, cut out more times than I could count.

I can see YSU being thrown a bone after they lose next week because the MVC deserves 3 teams but they(YSU) really won't deserve it because they will have exactly one good win, over SIU, that was more of a giveaway than a takeaway and they'll be on a 3 game losing streak. UNI would have a better overall resume but can't get above 7-5, MSU in the same boat, and SIU too, with a D2 win. USD and the 'turds finish with losing records. The MVC is effing brutal this year. 4-8 USD dominated #12 Montana before losing on a KO return with less than 2:00 in the game.

True, he did get injured in the UNI game. But your coaching staff and Hess felt like he was fine before the game, otherwise he would not have started. Unless your staff is putting guys at risk by playing them injured. One of our best players got hurt a few weeks ago on a horse collar personally foul. Nobody said that player should be ejected. People get hurt and you move on.

The SIU fans...I more or less just ignore them because that's just best. I also cringe at the all of the camo uniforms I've seen this year - and Northwestern's uniforms today made me about throw up. I've never served, but one of my best friends did 3 tours and I have 2 uncles and 3 cousins that served....I think it's disgraceful, but whatever I guess, that's why I don't do it.

I'm not sure when this started, but I know UND was say home of the "Sioux" back in the 80's. I grew up with this for the last 30 years and never once thought it was disrespectful to anyone until the last few years when SAM started complaining. I assumed every team in the country did this. I've tried really hard to figure out how this could be seen as a bad thing and I can't get there so I guess it's just jealous fans who don't have any spirit.

Except for a few posters on here, I don't think the consensus of YSU fans think that YSU's program is back to where it once was. that is evident with the number of fans at the game today. I think the team has a significant amount of talent, but is coached poorly. over the last ten years YSU has been competitive with lesser talent and now they are less competitive with more talent. not much has changed in the win /loss statistics with the changes that were made. The only difference with Wolford's teams is that when they play at their best they are very very good, but even at their best they could not beat the team we played today.

You have not been respectful of the progress YSU has made with the talent level regardless of the coaching. I agree that YSU does not belong in the MVFC, but the fans cannot control this problem.
