What a half for the Raider offense. McCarney looks as healthy as he's been all season, and the line is getting some big push and opening holes for the run game.

Credit the defense as well, getting pressure, limiting the Leopards' opportunities

Kickoff coverage has been the weakest link so far, though they've been better the last two times. Usually Biddle and Co. make good 2nd half adjustments, so hopefully they keep it going, and get Lafayette off the field to start the half

Colgate survives somehow. Teams nearly switched at halftime, but it seems the Raiders had just enough in the tank to pull this one out. Offense got pretty conservative, though they didn't have the ball that much, and I would say there was no real reason to quit running. Maybe 1 or 2 more passes thrown in to keep the defense honest, but they got the job done.

Ross looks like an excellent player, I can't say I look forward to a few more years against him (and Pujals). Leopards have some athletic receivers, made a few great catches to keep drives alive. Nice to get a win in Easton, and now destiny is in our hands.

Raiders play for the League title against Lehigh next week :)

I believe so. We'd be 4-1, with the only loss coming to Bucknell who already has 2. Lafayette could beat Lehigh and be co-champs, but Colgate would get the playoff spot

Sure, but they had to know Biddle was going to try to slow down the game to a crawl! Suppose they try 2, and miss. They still need a touchdown to win anyway! IMO it was low-risk, high reward.

Going by the Patriot League website, if Colgate wins, they get the playoff spot, and would go to the playoffs at either 6-6, or 5-7 depending on their last game at Fordham. If Lehigh wins, then Lafayette-Lehigh becomes the Patriot League Championship Game, with the winner getting the playoff spot.

I don't question the two point conversion so much as the 4th and one and runs right up the gut for the umpteenth time in past several years. Post game interview he said his OC called for a spread formation and have Reed run/throw option, but the Frankasaurus overrode and went with the 'heavy load' back. Tough game for the 'pards to come back from a big deficit. Now with Fordham coming to town, in a somewhat 'meaningless' game as far a league implications, one wonders what kind of state of mind they will have.

Agreed! I was wondering that at the time too. Also I feel there is more fluidity for 2 points (guys looser) than when it is a do or die in the 4th.
