The SoCon finally gets three in the poll, although Wofford is too high, and Sammy is too low. Chatty is hard to place. All things will be made clear in the next 2 weeks.

So wait, Delaware beats the #6 team in the nation on the road and has already beaten #18 JMU and can't break the top 20?? I know we got blown out at Maine and at Navy but wow...

From the poll. UCA didn't move because I completely overlooked their game and they asked me about it.

Something of note: UNH is not present in this Top 25. Only TSN still has them ranked.

Wow not much respect from the coaches for SIU--wonder who keeps giving us the point? Lennon?

This poll is as usual a joke.
Bethune-Cookman is not in any way shape or form a top 10 team. CCU beats nobody and is in the top 3. People just looking at records and doing no research as usual.

Just a poll, don't get so worried about the rankings. They aren't so far off from other polls. AGS and TSN have B-CU ranked 13th and 12th respectively. B-CU still needs to win in the playoffs, so we are not focused on rankings. A solid defense, ball control, and creating turnovers is what we are focused on. Overall, so far, I'm satisfied with what I'm seeing. If we finish strong (i.e. - 11-1), the rankings will work themselves out;).

My issue with B-CU is discipline. I'm not sure I've ever seen a team get flagged as many times as they were on Saturday. That is not the recipe for playoff success.

Saturdays game was definitely out of control, but that hasn't been the case most of the year. The game is over and those MEAC refs are still throwing flags on us.xlolx However, you are correct, you can't win games in the playoffs being penalized as much as we were in this game. I'm not going to go on my bashing about MEAC refs, but some of those penalties that they call are highly questionable.

But that 11-1 turns into an 11-2 the following week, then we're right back to where we started.

I can't argue with you about that. We have to win in the playoffs and I hope this team is prepared to do that. Playing undisciplined football will hurt you every time. We have three weeks to work on these issues.
