Southern Illinois won its third straight conference road game with a 34-28 victory over Western Illinois Saturday afternoon at Hanson Field. The Salukis (5-4, 3-2 MVFC) led the entire way but did not put the game away until late in the fourth quarter against the WIU (3-7, 1-5 MVFC). SIU has now won three of its last four games and five of its last seven.
