Raiders having problems early 2:45 left, 1st. Down 3-0 to Bucknell.

WR Dan Cason down for Colgate, writhing in pain. A huge loss for them if he's out.

4:43 left and Colgate will punt. Raiders having big problems running the ball and McCarney has not been great passing the ball consistently.

Bucknell penalty extends Colgate drive.. and McCarney makes them pay. 35 yard pass to wide-open No. 8 for a TD.

Bucknell 10, Colgate 7, 3:13 left in half

Nice job Bison. The way it's looking, I really wouldn't be suprised if 4-5 teams in league ended up at 3-2

Good job Bison!! Yes! Matt Smalley returns kickoff 98 yards after Gtown score first play of 4th qtr and its 42-13 Pards!

Congrats to BU. The joys of having a real D and a senior QB.

A very possible scenario.

Give Fordham the AQ ;)

Not impossible scenario. Wonder if similar has ever happened anywhere?
Did say this yr would be a horse race. But a 5 way?
Holy cr@p!

Of course, ncaa could just invite all of them. LOL

Someone said that Georgetown and Fordham's presidents would choose. I have no idea if that is true or not. Assuming no one beats Fordham, that would be first tiebreak.

Dont think this scenario has happened anyway on collegiate level with 5 teams tied for first???

I said it, but it's the AD's, not the Presidents. There are numerous tiebreakers but none of them break the tie until you get to the last one:

"If a tie still exists, a committee consisting of the athletics directors of each of the institutions not involved in the tie will make a final decision. The committee should consider various factors including, but not limited to, the following examples. Note: the examples are listed in no particular order:
a). strength of schedule
b). overall record
c). computer rankings
d). performance during second half of season

If I were them, I'd go strictly with (d) "performance during second half of season". xnodx

Unfortunately they were 0-3 when that senior QB was out with an injury and they had no qualified QB to step in. The "might have beens" of a Bison fan.

I think it happened last year in CAA. Nova got the AQ because they beat Old Dominion, who won the league (ala Fordham) but was ineligible for the AQ.

There was a 4-way tie in the CAA last year. ODU did go 7-1, while Richmond, UNH, Nova, and Towson all finished 6-2 in league play.

If the ADs have to determine it based on overall record, then that 5-way tie scenario would result in the following final records (assuming Fordham wins out):

Lehigh 8-3
Bucknell 6-5
Holy Cross 5-7
Colgate 4-8
Lafayette 3-8

I'd have to hope that either Lehigh or Bucknell would get the AQ, because sending a losing team with 0, 1, or 2 OOC wins would reflect very poorly upon the league.

Congrats to Bucknell. You guys were absolutely the better team. Colgate is really good about stealing wins in games like these but you guys played great in the 4th to win going away. Really nice D line and linebacker play. Curious to see how you guys do against Fordham next week. Good luck the rest of the way.

Defense is what wins championships. With Wesley, Bison now have some offensive threat as well as ball control to help the defense rest. Fordham will have it's hands full.
