Agreed. Maine was very lucky to win today against a very physical and pumped Stony Brook squad. Maine's offense looked good on exactly one drive today......the winning one.

W&M is the only team in the CAA that has been more underrated than Maine. They are very well coached and usually don't beat themselves.

I watched this game. Maine's offense didn't look that good but maybe credit goes to SB. Maine's defense looked good. NDSU/Maine would be an interesting match-up but I don't think Maine's offense could consistently move the ball on NDSU's defense.

EWU is REALLY good. MSU is going to need their best effort of the season to have a chance...

Should be a barn burner. We lost a starting safety and the top backup against UM (neither season ending though), and today lost UCLA transfer safety Tevin McDonald for the year with a broken fibula. We'll need to light up the scoreboard to win, but after MSU's defense has performed the last three weeks, I think we have a good chance. Adams to Kupp is unstoppable.

Screamin_Eagle174
November 2nd, 2013, 09:01 PM
55-34 final from Pocatello, btw. EWU set a new school record for total offense, finishing with 745 I believe, breaking the old record by 5. Adams had 492 yards total offense, 5 more TDs to 1 INT, and RS Freshman WR Cooper Kupp had 205 yards on 8 catches, 2 TDs. 18 yards shy of a 1,000 and 13 TDs with 3 games to play (in the regular season). If he continues at this pace, Kaufman's receiving yards record from last year could be in jeopardy.

That was unquestionably the most amazing Blue Hen comeback I have ever seen. I've seen many great wins, but this probably takes the superlative for comebacks. Very proud and happy for the team being rewarded for never giving up.

Trevor did a great job taking what the Towson defense would give him.

Just a shame this one wasn't on TV for my DVR, because this was an all time great football game that would have had anyone who stuck with it on TV talking this morning.

Towson is a very good team. Losing one in that fashion, while having to sit on it for a couple weeks b/c of their 'bye' week has to be a very empty feeling.

DoubleH
November 4th, 2013, 02:50 PM
That was one of the worst losses in Towson history IMO. Purposely taking your foot off the gas in the 4th quarter should only occur with leads much bigger than the 31-10 lead we had at the time.
