The FAMU Athletics family announces the loss of Mrs. Keisha Kirkland, wife of football coach Levon Kirkland. Kirkland lost her battle with lung cancer on Tuesday, a condition she has fought since it's discovery in 2008. She was a healthy non-smoker until that diagnosis.
