Just to show you how long it has been since the Gophers beat Nebraska:
They hadn't even led the Big Red for 44 years.
I was in first grade the last time the Gophers beat the Huskers-1960. Now I am retired.

More importantly, this should break Minnesota's Rose Bowl curse, if the Goophers can put together a season that gets them there. ;)

I was in first grade the last time that they went. I was in 8th grade the last time that they were (tri)champs with Purdue and Indiana. I thought that I would go someday. Maybe if I live as long as Methusalah! But hope springs eternal!

Yes, they better win that one. Whisky and Sparty will be really tough to beat. But things look so much better than after they were 0-2 in the BIG.
