It is a crisp, fall day at Villanova Stadium as we prepare for one of the most important CAA games of the season. I think the team that wins this one will claim the auto bid for the CAA. It is very windy, with the breeze whipping towards the west end zone (to my right in the Villanova press box).

We are about 22 minutes from kickoff.

This is close to a must-win game for Villanova, if the Cats want to make the playoffs.

There was surprisingly heavy traffic trying to get to the stadium today for Senior Day events. Villanova closes the season at James Madison and Rhode Island before hosting the final game of the regular season at PPL Stadium in Chester against arch-rival Delaware.

Nice job by a Villanova choral group on the national anthem and now the captains are on the field for the coin toss. Villanova won the toss and will receive, heading west, with the wind.
