USC reserve defensive end Kerry Bonds has been dismissed from the team for allegedly choking a female student in the dormitory where the majority of the Gamecocks' players live.
The 6-foot-2, 212-pound Bonds is accused of assaulting Rachael Jackson, who is 5-2 and 121 pounds, during an incident around 8 p.m. Friday at East Quad, according to a USC police report.

what a ****! maybe South Carolina should stick to more instate recruiting like Clemson and they'll have a better team.

I'm pretty sure that he recruited this kid. Mitchell I think was a hold-over Holtz recruit.

I hate it when these 5-2, 121 pound women start beating up on football players.
A great quote from the article ...
"Kerry did something that is in violation of our team rules. Not a university (rule), but a Steve Spurrier rule — or a football rule," Spurrier said Tuesday. "So he's no longer on our team. He's finished here."
Apparently choking a coed doesn't violate USC rulesxidiotx .
