Wofford is not consistent enough of a football team to win the Socon outright, let alone a national title. Our offense is really good on its good days, but questionable on other days and our defense is struggling currently, especially pass defense.

We're trailing 14-7 to Western, and they're currently inside our redzone, so they very well could score again.

We could easily come back and win this game, but our inability to play at a consistent level is what's going to do us in.

We could possibly win a share of the socon or win it outright and make the playoffs, but I'm going to go on record in saying that I'm skeptical of our consistency to say that it's a sure thing.

17-7 now? The performance against Elon was concerning enough. Samford is definitely my autobid at the moment. Would 7-4 be good enough for Wofford to get an at-large? Out of SoCon in 2013, that doesn't appear to be enough. Chattanooga would likely have a similar record. This conference looks more and more like a 1 bid league every week.

with the 26 bid playoffs the Socon will certainly get 2 or 3. We've outgained western by 30 yards, but have turned the ball over 3 times. We can definitely win this game, I'm just concerned that we've played like this.

At this point, I'm pretty sure Wofford CAN make the playoffs, but it'll be close at the level we're playing.
