Fifty years ago, the Eagles of N.C. College at *Durham (now North Carolina Central University) won the 1963 CIAA Football Championship by finishing the season with an 8-1 overall record.*On Saturday (Oct. 19), in honor of the 50th anniversary of the accomplishment, members of the 1963 team will be recognized during NCCU's homecoming football game.
