NORMAL -- They needed two overtimes to decide it but Southern University refused to lose at home even after an hour and forty minute rain delay, a grounding call that sent the referees in the locker room then saw them return and give the Jaguars another play with seven seconds on the clock in regulation and a fumble call that saw Alabama A&M's Barrington Scott release the ball after his rear end made contact with the ground.
