Congrats! I wonder what the record attendance is for other SoCon schools? How about other HOME I-AA? Visiting a I-A does not count.
On another note, Considering this year and last, how well does App travel? I can only speak about Appy when you visit GSU.

I figure in regard to Apps showing up at GSU, it's about mutual. The GSU games in Boone are no where in the top 10 home crowds for ASU and I doubt ASU is in theirs either..
Distance is a problem for both schools evidently. (337 miles)

But my goodness what beautiful country in the fall! I don't see why more don't make the trip. Make the Mrs. happy looking at foliage and birds then check out a game in a rocking stadium for the Mr. I like it.

Actually, I believe our 2000 game with you guys is #5, and if it isn't, it's definitly still in the top 10. There are no others, though. I do wish we could bring as many people to Boone as we do to Greenville.
By the way, you guys may just break the record again when Furman comes into town if you get that many people in town for Elon.

I don't think Furman will break the record, but if the weather is nice, we'll have around 24k. The Elon game was 26k because of homecoming. I'm looking forward to the Furman game because all the diehard fans will be there instead of the homecoming crowd where you get polite applause and a half-empty stadium after the 3rd quarter because everyone goes to the bars/parties (not that there is anything wrong with that).

I'm kinda hoping there's early snow that weekend. A comfortably packed house is one thing, but too much north of 25K and KBS is a tough place to be. I only get to make one trip to Boone this season, and I'd just as soon not have to park a mile from campus, stand in line for 30 minutes, and stand on the walkway near the hill when I'm there.
I'd also figure (I guess) snow would be a benefit for the home team.
If 26K show up for Furman, the chances of 18K leaving after one team goes up 31-7 are pretty slim.

The chances of either ASU or Furman getting up 31-7 on the other is also pretty ridiculous.
I personally hope it's a great, close game as always. Rushing the field post-Furman is a helluva lotta fun. :D
