Nice to see the community begin to rally around this team. Yes, YSU is now 6-1 and on a 10 game FCS winning streak dating back to last year, but the nice thing is we are clearly improving each and every week. This week the defense was making big plays and the offense absolutely torched the weak ILSU secondary. Still not a finished product, but this team has the potential to be very good if they stay level headed.

Under Wolford, YSU is now 20-1 when holding the opposition to less than 30 points.

With that being said, I am insinuating that just an average to above average defense, give up 24-27 or less ppg, and YSU will have success once again. Don't need to be unreal, just be good enough on defense because our offense is very good.
