I don't blame you! Only reason I didn't wait for your posting was because I am going into work earlier today. We close our facility earlier, thus going in earlier than usual...

Looked for your posting this AM and had to use I-AA.org instead. Your post is still informative after the fact as I confirmed what I did was just about right. Had problems figuring out what team I wanted at the bottom of my poll after booting the two. Seems San Diego and UTM were good selections.

Havent done my poll yet, have put together the results and the polls 25 members may remain the same thopugh in diff ordersWestern Illinois could fall out of mine from no.20 but im not sure yet, \also not sure if I wanna drop Maine from 25 even though they lost to Boston College. A long day of decisions.

Thanks for posting this AppGuy. One update for you. Richmond is 4-0. They've already had their idle week.

The bottom of the poll is no place to be this year. From #16 down, only Harvard won. Big changes toward the bottom again this week.

I'd maybe consider leaving Maine around that spot considering a pretty respectable score at BC... Also, WIU played WKU tough on the road, with the teams outside the top 25 that actually won, it'd be tough to replace either Maine or WIU. It'd be much easier to just rank the top 15 it seems this year. The bottom 10 teams don't seem to quite have it together this season...

Western Kentucky was 20th in my poll and a 3 point loss prolly wont knock them out, Maine was 25th and I think thyey will remain there after the strong performance at BC, next lowest loss in my poll was #17 Portland State who will rem,ain around that spot. Eastern Illinois and UNI were the only other losers in my poll UNI may move up a spot and Richmond drop 1 after there close win against northeastern.

You must mean Western Illinois, because Western Kentucky beat WIU Saturday.

JaxHen, I'm a Gateway fan (WKU), but I just don't see how you can have Northern Iowa at # 13 considering their two losses, especially the ugly one.

We dropped like 11 spots after the UND game (which people really need to get over by now). How many should we drop after losing by one point because of missed 51 yard field goal kick to one of the Big 12 North contenders?

Yeah I'm no polling expert but how did UD move up from #21 to #19 after a loss? I know it was against #1 UNH but still a loss. :eyebrow:

Northern Iowa barely lost to North Dakota, which is 5-0 and one of the top D-II schools and to D-IA Iowa State by only one point. I'm not sure who else you would put above them.

Remember, this is my personal poll, which is not based on the AGS poll, so my top 25 is a little different than the AGS poll. However, I didn't even have Delaware in my top 25 last week, which will probably make you question it even more. Unlike some others, I do believe in considering how well a team does against a high ranked opponent. Northern Iowa and Delaware had close losses to a D-IA opponent and the top-ranked D-IAA team, respectively, which improves their status in my mind. Also, quite a few of the teams in the bottom portion of the top 25 lost which opened the door for teams that I didn't have ranked. A quality loss is sometimes more impressive than a weak win against a low-ranked opponent. Just my opinion. I'm no polling expert either; I'm just having fun with it.
