tldr for the video: highly-touted high school football player breaks leg in final game of Junior season; complications lead to amputation; back for his senior season with a prosthetic and will have "preferred walk-on" status next year at Montana State.

Great story. Went through the compound fracture myself but kept the leg...and was finally able to walk again a 1 1/2 later. Hope the best for him in his tenure at MSU and he seems like he's got a hell of a lot of heart.

This kid has a great attitude. Even if he never makes the Montana State football team, he will be one of those people who will go far in life in or out of football.

One Bobcat I'll always cheer for, even if it's the last game of the regular season.

I had the great opportunity to teach and coach Koni. He is one of a kind, a great attitude and the heart of a lion. They call him the "excuse eliminator" and that is a very apt nickname.

Craig Haley wrote an article about him a few weeks ago that the AP picked up -

He's declining more interviews until he earns more playing time. The fans were glad to see him in the game when he got in.
