This week I might take MoState and the points. I can't decide if this will be close or a blowout yet.

#7 Eastern Washington -21 1/2
at North Dakota
Only 21.5?
Missouri State +28 1/2
at #1 North Dakota State
I'm not that confident. Would be surprised to see NDSU cover there....could struggle on O with the 3-4 the MSU runs.

If I were betting real money, I'd stay the hell away from the game this weekend. This class has the following scores against MoState
0-3
51-21
21-17
Not with a 10 foot pole.

Homecoming will be a close game. 17-7
MiserySU gets a special teams or defensive TD.

Why not? The 51-21 game was a complete beatdown and it still only covered 30....28.5 is ridiculous. I tend not to ever bet against my teams though. :D

I'm slightly surprised that UR is favored in Harrisonburg.

Thats what jumped out at me as well although I think UR wins and JMU clearly shouldn't be ranked

I'd take Elon with the points (+21.5) along with So. Illinois (+17.5).
Wofford is good, but it seems that they only seem to score enough to stay ahead...not really a "blow 'em out" team.
SIU does have a shot to keep it close or even win with the heart of the UNI D out (Farley) and that hip flexor on Johnson.

As absolutely terrible as APP is this year, I still think teams are wary about playing them. It's almost like they are waiting for them to absolutely blow a gasket and beat somebody 70-0. Sure the Apps are 1-5 but i really think that sooner or later it will all click (if even for only a game or two) and they will dominate and be the team we thought they were.

17.5 for UNI/SIU is really damn high...
Since the 2001 season only 2 games have been won by more than 1 score...average difference in score is 4 points
In 31 games in series history UNI leads 16-15 with the total scores being UNI 25.06 SIU 24.90 (777-772)

Mo. State was better than I thought they would be. Of course we are pretty beat up. They have decent size and great coaching. So many games this year they were that close to winning. I don't expect a Mo. State win but I think Bison fans will enjoy the game. But that's only from a one game perspective from the fan of a beat up team. xlolx
