I still think SDSU is to high on that poll.

Most teams have played 6 games... How are they justifying teams with a losing record, 1-3, 2-3. And ontop of the losing record, having wins that are unconvincing.

UCA beat incarnate ****ing word and also beat Misery St by 3.... and they have a losing record obviously top 25 material.

New Hampshire has one win and it isn't a good one...

By this same logic, UND is top 25 material, as is Bucknell and Valparaiso.

UCA has no business in the top 25, much less the top 20 at this point. Having UNH ranked at all is just as laughable.

UNH is in the top 25? Why can't these pollsters just admit they made a mistake a month ago and voted correctly now?

More proof of CAA bias by TSN. Everything they put out is superficial and weak. POS group of reporters

Not as good as the AGS Poll:

Too High: Montana St & SDSU (both way too high), B-Cookman, UCA & UNH (both shouldn't be ranked, UNH 1-3 really???)

Too Low: Maine (joke to be that low), YSU & Jacksonville St, W&M too

South Dakota State - 1660 votes
Southern Illinois - 78 votes

Both teams are 3-3. The best two wins for SIU? Head to head win @ SDSU and 17 point win over SEMO. The best two wins for SDSU? single digit home win over SELA, and a single digit road win over a UND team that has already suffered two 40 point home losses. To say these voters have done their research is a crock.

Central Arkansas (2-3) LOST to Tennessee-Martin--------Jacksonville State (5-1) DESTROYED Tennessee-Martin; Tennessee State should also be ranked..........I know that there is an unwritten law against having three OVC teams ranked, but really sometimes you just have to bite the bullet, if Bethune-Cookman is 16- they only beat TSU by 3.................

I agree that Tennessee State should be ranked as well. Our game against them was a true defensive battle and the first game for both teams. Since then, Tennessee State has reeled off 5 straight wins. I believe they will be in the playoffs, which will make our victory over a talented OVC squad that much more impressive.

It is impossible to justify that...

If that's the case, we beat Samford on the road with our backup QB - and had a three TD lead in the fourth quarter ... yet Samford is ranked and we're not. Our two losses are to TCU in a game in which we were very competitive, and to South Dakota State, whom we dominated statistically and led by double figures for most of the game ... if we don't turn it over six times - including a pick 6 - and have 12 penalties, that's probably a comfortable road win for us. And we beat SEMO worse than Ole Miss, Southern Illinois, UT-Martin and Tennessee State.

Although this would never happen if it were Maine (we have a hard time getting ranked with winning records!).........if somehow it did happen and Maine were ranked with a 1-3 record, I would be embarrassed as well..........although the true embarrassment falls on the voters.xcrazyx

I'm not talking transitive properties, I'm talking about head to head results and comparing the quality of schedule and performance vs a team ranked ahead of us.

As noted above, I feel your pain. (Being ranked lower than a team you've beaten.) However, when the Lions beat Samford three Saturdays past, we were not ranked. So, in the voters mind, that victory probably didn't impress as much as did our win over a ranked GaSo this week. When you guys play relatively mistake free, you are a force with which to be reckoned. You definitely have the potential to be ranked when it really counts. Good luck!
