* I love the town. Always have. http://www.championshipsubdivision.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif
* Ben Dupree is a solid football player. http://www.championshipsubdivision.com/forums/images/smilies/nod.gif
* Of the 13,600 in attendance, you'd be comfortable having 13,599 over for dinner. The one 50 yr old in the parking lot after the game chanting "Sun-belt...Sun-belt" put a slight dent in an otherwise good time.
* An ASU offensive line that is busy converting O2 into CO2 instead of blocking doesn't really allow a QB much time in the pocket.
* An 80 yr old Citadel gentleman taking a leak next to me after the game said "you should have exploited our secondary. We're young there and inexperienced." I asked him if he'd mind moving to Boone. http://www.championshipsubdivision.com/forums/images/smilies/sSig_ohno.gif
* The Noisy Oyster has surprisingly good seafood. http://www.championshipsubdivision.com/forums/images/smilies/thumb.gif
* The female bartending talent at Market St. Saloon was ridiculous http://www.championshipsubdivision.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif
* A morning walk through St. Philip's cemetery is eerily cool. But the mosquitoes are still biting hard.
* ASU's current motto of "Always Attack" needs to be changed. If you can equate a game plan to politics, I'd say we're so conservative we're the Tea Party. http://www.championshipsubdivision.com/forums/images/smilies/sSig_ohno.gif
* Despite painful losses on the WC(b) and the EC(b), being surrounded by good friends and family make it a lot more bearable.

Best of luck to the Cadets from here on out. http://www.championshipsubdivision.com/forums/images/smilies/nod.gif

A guy chanting in the parking lot put a dent in your experience? Man, did you ever make a game in Statesboro? Not trying to give you a hard time but you're not going to enjoy many games if a little chanting bothers you.

Nice of you to give kudos to the town though. I concur with all you said there.

Glad you had a great time. Sorry about the one bonehead. Probably a little too much drink. Wasn't me, although the age was right, and I had a bit too much.xeyebrowx You guys could have struck us a little more on the deep balls. It probably would have paid off. I dread Samford and even Elon in that regard. It was a great game and I am pleasantly surprised at the outcome. But when it comes down to a wicked deflected interception and ugly field goal, I don't know what to think. I need to play tourist again; Charleston is great place to be one. Good luck with the rest of the season.xthumbsupx Do us a favor and knock off Samford, Chatty and Wofford.

Ahh so you partook of our visitor's side pisswall, eh? I hope we never tear that side down.

Nope brother, I pissed early and often from section E on the home side. We were the three person island of black in a sea of blue and white.

See guys. THIS is why college football exists, and why I love it.

We all have them, not a big deal. One of my App brethren behind me said to him "we'll take our three back to back NC's and move on". I just moved along.xcoolx

Last year I learned Charleston Crab House has some of the best She Crab Soup I've ever had.

That and alcohol are the only things I remember from that trip. Nothing else happened....nope, nothing.

I'm sure someone can give you an overview if you want. All I remember some one saying something about getting their fannies whipped ... and it wasn't a knob for once.

Amen.

The SoCon has some of the best road trips in college football. Charleston, Savannah, Boone & Cullowhee, Greenville, and Chattanooga are all great destinations even if football was not part of the equation.

NOPE. NEVER HAPPENED. CONSUMING ALCOHOL AND SEAFOOD ARE THE ONLY THINGS THAT HAPPENED.
