South Dakota State University officials announced on Saturday lead gifts totaling $12.5 million from Sioux Falls banker Dana Dykhouse and philanthropist T. Denny Sanford toward the construction of a new football stadium.

SDSU has spent millions on other facilities, but athletics is finally getting the needed attention to make us a true D1 institution. We will have spent a 100 million by 2016. We are just starting a 32 million indoor facility, we completed a 10 million Dykhouse Football facility, and now the stadium costing 68 million.
