Eastern Washington 42 @ North Dakota 17 EWU should get another easy win this week

Portland State 28 @ Southern Utah 24 Tough one to pick this week. PSU has been playing fairly well this year and SUU has been up and down. If this game was in Portland, PSU would be the easy pick, but with SUU being the home team this is a tough one to pick. It could go either way.

Northern Colorado 14 @ Idaho State 17 ISU gets a 2nd chance to win a BSC game. This time UNC comes to town. I went with the home team.

Montana 24 @ UC Davis 17 The UCD defense keeps the Griz in check, but their offense does not have enough umphf to win this game.

Northern Arizona 27 @ Sacramento State 26 Sac's home field advantage should keep this game close, but NAU plays pissed after last weeks performance in Bozeman.

Weber State 27 @ Cal Poly 39 CP plays much better after all the mistakes against Yale.

MSU @ Bye This games finishes in a tie zero to zero.

NAU 17-14 Sac State — Sac can outscore NAU's offense, but I'm not sure they can outscore NAU's defense

NoCo 28-23 Idaho St. — Toilet Bowl II; I'm going with the better defense

Portland St. 35-20 Suutah — Pumpkin time for the Southern Utah Cinderellas

EWU 38-17 NoDak — North Dakota's team has been almost as disappointing as their nickname

37-19, pretty terrible. Need a perfect week but lately have been coming close to perfect, if I was predicting the losers. Obviously I don't know much this year but I'll keep trying. This week's predictions in the Big Sky.

EWU at UND---The Eagles have shown to be one of the top teams in the conference. The other two top teams, Montana and Montana State, had no problem dispatching the former Sioux from their home dome. The Eagles shouldn't have any problems either...EWU 50, UND 24.

UM at UCD---The Grizzlies powerful offense meets the Aggies potent defense. However, it may come down to the Grizzlies powerful defense against the Aggies marginal offense. But don't overlook that defense of the Aggies. Closer than it should be...UM 24, UCD 21.

NAU at Sac State---The Lumberjacks have shown the ability to get up for their Montana game, but have had difficulty in their other games. The Hornets have come alive lately, although it is hard to tell playing Weber State and Northern Colorado. This should be a better test...Sac St 27, NAU 24.

UNC at ISU---The Bears were supposed to be playing better than this in this year when they were to make some noise. Its hard to think the Bengals were going to be worse but they have had some good things happen this year. Maybe here they get the win...ISU 34, UNC 30.

PSU at SUU---It seems no one can stop the Vikings but the Vikings themselves. This week the Thunderbirds will try to slow them down. The Thunderbirds have also had their problems including last week's strange home loss to UC-Davis. Carryover here...PSU 35, SUU 31.

WSU at CP---The Wildcats have been taking their lumps in a rebuilding year. The Mustangs followed up a good road win at Portland State with a strange home loss to Yale. The best thing for the Mustangs is that it didn't hurt them much in the conference scope...CP 38, WSU 10.

I'm 49-13 on the year. Which is only good enough to be tied for 46th in the BS challenge. Leader has 54 so I'm 5 games back.
