When Brown and URI get together on Saturday, October 5 at Brown Stadium, starting at 6pm, the stakes are high with the two teams battling for the Governor’s Cup. While the Bears have won the last two games in the series, including a 35-21 win in 2011 with over 10,000 fans under the lights at Brown Stadium, the series is even over the last 10 years, with each team winning five times. Brown is also pleased to host Rhode Island Legends Day on Saturday, honoring some of the Ocean State’s greatest sports legends at halftime.
