Don't know whats going on with the Mets, but they are playing horrible. Pedro got pummeled by the Braves last night. They have lost 4 in a row and 7 of their last 8. I think they are at a major disadvantage when it comes playoff time. Everyone else has been playing playoff baseball for weeks while the Mets have been sitting on their rump, atleast judging from their play recently.

Your thoughts?

People may say that the Mets are laxing due to the fact they are already in the postseason. I don't think that is the case. The way Pedro has been pitching, the Mets need to be concerned. What are they going to due with thier roatation in the playoffs? Who starts number one?

The NL is wide-open, any of the 4 teams that make the playoffs can win, well maybe except the Cards if they get in. Whoever wins the AL will dispose of the NL champ in 4 or 5.
