I haven't been playing all season because I missed the first few weeks but I'll jump in for commenting purposes only.

The McNeese-UCA game is a huge game for both teams as far as the playoffs are concrerned. The loser of this game will essentially have their back against the wall after week one on SLC play and SHSU still on the schedule for both teams. Although the Kats travel to both. I think McNeese has a little more breathing room with just the 1 loss thus far and the FBS win so they would not be in desperation mode if they lose but it gives little room for a slip up the rest of the way in conference.

UCA on the other hand, if they lose this game at home, they are up against it with 3 losses. It will be interesting to see if the week off has given the Bears some time to heal up and what effect the suspensions will have on the game is intriguing as well.

After observing the level of injuries on the defense against Colorado, I called it early for the Bears. A great year with a most likely shared title has no gone to "survival" mode for the Bears. With the suspension and all the offensive woes, it got worse. After the loss at UT-Martin, and a sneak by at Mo. State, I have little confidence in the Bears............. but............... the talent on that team is waaaaaaay to good to give up this quickly. I see a possible win vs. McNeese. W vs. Nebraska-Kearney so that would bring the record up to 4-2 if it went that way.

Actually it will pretty much be all hands on deck this week in Conway. The only injuries that will keep someone from playing this week were on UNI.
