All home teams except I think UND gets a win at ISU. (I actually had to think about this one, that just shows how far our program has fallen.)

I'd take all the home teams including Idaho State.xpeacex
Seriously I didn't think UN_ could be any worse defensively but they have out done themselves this year!

Mussman has made this team the worst since the mid 80's.

It will be interesting to see how/if Montana bounces back next week against a dangerous Portland State team. Playing in Missoula should help.

UC Davis @ Southern Utah - SUU Didn't look like world beaters at UNC, but a road conference win is a road conference win. They are sitting at 4-1 with an FBS scalp (if you can call it that) on their resume. Davis handled ISU at home for their first win of the season, but they won't find a second yet.
PSU @ Montana - Griz should come out fired up with a chip on their shoulder at home. PSU is dangerous, but I think the Griz lay the smackdown on an unsuspecting PSU squad at home. Won't be close.
North Dakota @ Idaho St - Pillow fight of the week pits two fangless squads. I give ISU the nod because it's at ISU, but UND could just as easily win this as well.
NAU @ Montana State - I hate to pick against my boys, but our running defense has been suspect and I don't see anyway we can stop Bauman barring some genius gameplan. We have tried arm-tackling our way through the season thus far, and it hasn't stopped anyone. And I was a believer in UM's lines on both sides of the ball, and they got manhandled. Cats could take this one; it's at home and McGhee will likely be back once again.
Yale @ Cal Poly- Poly should be able to handle an Ivy at home. Yale is nothing special this year, and Poly still has playoff aspirations.
WSU @ EWU - Perfect rebound game for EWU, against a Weber team that has given up 254 points this year so far. Yes I know there are two FBS Utah schools on there, but my goodness. And they have scored 22 points in the last 4 games. This one won't be close.
UNC @ Sac St - I don't know what to make of Sac yet, but I do know that UNC doesn't seem to have made any progess from last year. Sac wins a close one at home.

I like all your picks, including the tie. But I think it will be more like 63-63 as neither team has a defense.

UC Davis 18 @ Southern Utah 28 - SUU is at home and UC Davis has not shown enough ability to win this road game.
PSU 30 @ Montana 32 - Like the Cats this passed week, the Griz are going to play pissed, unlike last week when all they did was piss on themselves. The Griz know they can play better then they did and it will show in this game. But PSU has played better than expected this season and will keep it close.
North Dakota 10 @ Idaho St 17 - UND has been deflated. I keep expecting ISU to improve under Kramer. This is the game for ISU to get a BSC win.
NAU 21 @ Montana State 26 - Tough pick here. NAU dominated the Griz. How will the Cats play? like against SFA or like against UND? I think this game will come down to who has the fewest turnovers, plus the Cats are at home, have DM back, and overcome a missed XP.
Yale 17 @ Cal Poly 32- I expect CP to dominate this game, but the IVY's can be hard to judge since they do not play many OOC games and do not partipate in the playoffs.
WSU 27 @ EWU 62 - EWU gets a cupcake this week. EWU 2's and 3's get playing time in the 2nd half.
UNC 12 @ Sac St 24 - UNC gets a touchdown, fieldgoal and a safety, but Sac State takes it easy on UNC and crusies to the win.

Even with the turnovers forced against UM, NAU is even on turnover ratio for the year. The Cats on the other hand lead the Sky with +8, and 4 of those were interceptions thrown by Jake Bleskin against SFA. The Cats have forced 13 turnovers this year, NAU 7.

Weber 14-48 EWU — A rare schedule breather for the Eagles
NoCo 17-28 Sac State — It's unclear if Lobato will return, but it likely won't matter
NoDak 44-30 Idaho St. — UND's defense gets shredded by good offenses, ISU's D gets shredded by bad ones
Davis 13-27 Suutah — Could the T-Birds really be 5-1? xeekx
Portland St. 21-38 Montana — PSU's defense & place kicking are just too weak to pull off this upset
NAU 20-17 Montana St. — Will NAU keep their momentum? Is McGhee 100%? Will Souers eat another cheeseburger & become the next Buddha?
Yale 20-41 Cal Poly — Boola Boola, Boola Beat-Down…

This is what I went with on the Big Sky Challenge. Hardest game to pick is NAU/MSU, now that McGhee is back. If he weren't playing, I'd pick NAU as a lock.

I'm really interested in the Yale-Poly game. The BSC fans will be surprised with the athleticism Yale displays assuming the Eli are indeed a top tier IL squad. I'll be shocked if this isn't a 4 quarter game.

On second thought, CATS by 2 scores!!! :)
If Screamin is picking the Jacks, they go no shot!!!

I'd say MSU by 3 touchdowns minimum. I'm still not sold on NAU or even Montana yet.

Not gonna happen. NAU's D is for real, while MSU's is...not exactly stellar.

A pitiful 2-5 week last week puts me at 34-15 for the year so far. If there was any week where I need to be perfect it is this week. The usual slate, 6 conference games and one non-conference game. Here's my attempt at perfection.
Yale at CP---Intriguing matchup. The Big Sky doesn't usually get the chance to matchup with the Ivy League so thanks to the Mustangs for getting this game. Yale heads out west to take on one of the conference's finest. The Mustangs woke up late to get the win last week, they may want to start a bit earlier in this game...CP 42, Yale 24.
UND at ISU---In what was supposed to be a dream season for them, the former Sioux find themselves struggling after two blowout losses at home. The Bengals can beat the lower division teams but have had their problems with DI teams. However, this game is in Pocatello, maybe that is the difference...ISU 28, UND 25.
NAU at MSU---The Lumberjacks hope to carry the momentum from last week's big home win over Montana. The Bobcats come back home after a big blowout win at North Dakota. One thing for sure, someone is going to keep it going and be a contender for the conference title...NAU 21, MSU 14.
UNC at Sac State---The Bears hung around with Southern Utah last week, but coming in to this season, that was a game they should have won. The Hornets started off slow but had probably their best showing last week at Weber State. The Hornets are hoping they are moving forward now...Sac State 31, UNC 10.
PSU at UM---The Vikings did everything to win the game last week against Cal Poly except for crucial mistakes down the stretch that ultimately did them in. The Grizzlies tried to win their game last week at Northern Arizona by just going through the motions. Both teams want this one, but the Vikings can't seem to stay out of their way and the Grizzlies will make them pay...UM 45, PSU 35.
UCD at SUU---The Aggies came through last week at home against Idaho State to start 1-0. The Thunderbirds also sit at 1-0 after a tough win at Northern Colorado. Who would have thought one of these teams would be 2-0 after this weekend? Surprising that it could be the Aggies, but probably not...SUU 31, UCD 17.
WSU at EWU---The Eagles play their first conference game while the Wildcats got blown out at home against Sacramento State last week. On paper this looks like a complete blowout, but the Wildcats threw a scare in to the Eagles last year. Wonder if they can do it again. Probably not...EWU 42, WSU 14.

I'm expecting Yale to be both athletic, and pumped for this game. I'm also a bit concerned. We had three top starters out for the Portland game, and it looks like one or more will be out again. Also, we lost one of our starting DBs for the first half due to a targeting call in the PSU game. It was the right call by the ref although I could see that Hubbard was going in to strip the ball, and not intentionally targeting the head. Still, that's how it played out, and now he has to sit out the first half. I believe our players will respect Yale's 2-0 record, and the skill levels of their players. Can't wait to be at Spanos Stadium on Saturday!!

It's not like they don't get top notch recruits every year. Obviously nobody can compete with the type of degree that is offered by the Ivy League schools.
