SEATTLE -- Jeremy Shockey is at it again.
New York's volatile tight end criticized coach Tom Coughlin after the Giants fell behind by 35 points early before losing to Seattle 42-30 on Sunday.
"We got outplayed and outcoached. Write that down," Shockey said.
Asked what he meant by outcoached, Shockey said, "You saw the game."

I think Shockey peaked as a rookie. You can write that down too.

He's a media creation. Remove the tattoos and take him out of NY and put him on the Titans and nobody would have noticed him since he was in college.

Like Kellen Winslow Jr. without the motorcycle accident?

He's pretty damn good IMO, but that sorta thing really doesn't help your team out a lot.

Couldn't agree more with him. The Giants were outplayed and outcoached.

I'd be frustrated also if my team was losing 42-3 at some point in a game. I'm sure he'll release some statement this week apologizing for those comments.
The Giants pulled out a miracle by coming back and beating the Eagles the week before in OT, after they were down 24-7. Then to get behind again like they did against Seattle, well, it's inexcusable to be that unprepared as a team, two weeks in a row.

Has anybody seen that NFL Network promo that runs during the games? In it, they show Shockey sitting on a couch in front of a TV! I thought that pretty much summed up Shockey's career to this point, always on the couch, nursing an injury!
