SIMMS HOSPITALIZED

Tampa QB Chris Simms has been taken to a hospital and NBC initially said he was in serious condition, a reporter then came on and said there trying to contact his family including former NFL QB Phil Simms but the GM of the Bucs said he is not it Critical Condition.

yeah, just saw that

he left the Carolina game in the 4th and came back about 10 minutes later and finished out the game

According to ESPN News, Simms had emergency surgery to have his spleen removed.

Wow. That TB Oline is a mess. Seems as if simms played football for 2 quarters with a ruptured spleen. He's lucky they made him go to the hospital.
