Looks like the A10 will have 6 teams in the top 20. Maybe 7 teams in the top 25 if Maine gets any respect.

lol I forgot, A-10 homers like you vote in the AGS poll. Delaware is terrible, not even close to a top 30 team.

The A-10 has 4 legit top 20 teams. Towson is borderline.

So you are right that some AGS voters will wrongly vote for UD, my mistake.

Just because we all arent SOCON fans like you dont mean we cant see facts. Delaware is also in the Sports Network poll at 18. I guess all those A10 homers are keeping them in as well.

UD is there based on name alone. I disagree with that, for ANY conference, including the SoCon. I didn't think GSU was poll worthy following their loss to CCSU.

But yet they have been in the poll all season based on their name. People still didnt knock them out. Exp SOCON homers... they will be gone this week though.

So you agree being a homer is bad, so neither GSU nor UD should have been in the top 25 after their horrible losses???

Delaware will still be in the top 25, and the loss to Albany is losing better after their win today

Well now Delawares only loss will be in the top 25. GSU on the other hand will have 2 losses.

Sure, but who has UD beaten? And they weren't good last year either, otherwise it would be a different story.

If you want to play that game then who has Furman beaten?

At the risk of drawing the ire of Albany fans everywhere (who me?) why not give some consideration for San Diego. Undefeated and a blowout win at Yale. For the success that the Ivy's have enjoyed so far at the expense of the PL, San Diego's win at Yale is looking pretty good, I'd say. Better than a loss to Fordham.

You missed the key point. Furman is ranked based on the success of last year's team, and has done nothing to contradict that ranking. The poll starts based on last year and then moves based on this year.

UD's ranking is based purely on the UD name, rather than any on-field reason. They sucked last year and then, this year, lost to an NEC team. They should be behind Albany, for one, and within the A-10 they have no claim above Maine or Towson.

If UD had been good last year, I would agree with their ranking, maybe even now.

Teams are not only ranked early based on the past season. Delaware was suppose to be decent this year with their new QB and Cuff back. Now they just have a coach that is clueless but they still got talent. As said before look what Richmond did last season after starting 0-2. If they were ranked anything above 15, id be agreeing with you but the bottom of the top 25 is weak right now.

You're right that the bottom of the poll is weak. But UD might be the 10th best team in the A-10. Regardless of conference strength, I think at some point teams that have done it on the field deserve the ranking, as opposed to a team that was thought to have potential. I think the loss to Albany should have made that point pretty clearly.

There's a lot of subjectivity in any poll right now but UD has actually proven they suck, whereas some teams probably do but haven't proven it yet.

Montana Grizzlies looked unbelievable today. It looks like we have an offense to go with our defense this year. Swogger, Chambers, Allen, Bagley, Bradshaw are potent, unless Sac State is that bad. I am looking forward to the Portland State game next week as for a measuring stick as to if we are that good or SDSU and Sac State are not that good. I am hoping we are that good, after all Sac gave Cal Poly a fight. I have seen our offense this consistent this early since 1996. As for defense, Montana is deep, fast, and big this year. Hard to believe this team has less than 10SR's this year. Anyone like hard hitting DBS? I hope the whole nation gets a chance to see a Sophomore walk on named Colt Anderson. Anyone in GRIZ land will tell you he is the real deal as for hitting, and they are clean hits too. Ask those who have faced him so far this year. Thing are looking great in Grizland so far. Here is to hoping it continues and we are in Chattanooga this year.

I will agree and think you both do as well that much consideration will be given before the season starts to the prior year (you have to) but after the season starts you don't get votes based on how good you think the players are or how good or not the coaches are but based on W's & L's and SOS. Saying they were supposed to be decent and then blaming their performance on a coachs ability does not sound like a team that I would say should be in the top 25. JMHO xcoffeex

Who else has San Diego played...nuff said.

Yale and Cornell (yales only win is overall Cornell) were picked 4th and 5th in the IVY.

DO SOME RESEARCH!!!!:nono:

Doesn't look like much change at the top. Of the top 20, the only losses are Cal-Poly and McNeese to IAs and UC-Davis and Western Carolina losing to higher rated teams.

hmmm... :nono:

I know they're I-A, but they're Toledo. :nono: This is a team that lost to Western Michigan by 3 TDs.
