Let's see..Fordham at 3-0 is rated one place lower than 0-2 Villanova who they have already beaten. Makes sense.

Both PL picks are mind numbing . LU s/n/b ranked and Fordham s/b at least in top 15.As usual AGS poll a more accurate reflection of top FS teams

Things will take care of themselves over the next 3 weeks. Instead of debating it on a message board, Lehigh will prove their worth on the field....

Every week the same ol bitching and moaning, comparing polls, patting each other on the back etc. Thank God FCS has playoffs,..... but the same ones will bitch about the last 3 in, and the top seeds,BUT anyone outside the top 10 as of now really have a shot to win the championship?

I think the voters not only know who won that game but they were actually AT that game and realize a talented Bear team is underperforming...and they also realize that trend won't last long.

I'm a voter in the TSN poll and I must say I'm ashamed at how many SIDs vote. Many of them just slot up and down and don't really put more than 2 minutes time in their vote. How NC A&T is not at least 26 or 27 and Fordham is behind Villanova while UCA is ahead of UTM. I'm also surprised that any of the teams below UTC are receiving votes. When Sacred Heart is getting a vote I think it shows some voters just don't take this very seriously. When has Sacred Heart ever been a top 25 team? I'm not saying they can't be but they need to go 4-0 or 5-0 before you could truly argue that they are in the discussion this year.

They could be 0-3 and he would think they are top 5 or something. The guy had UTC 11 in his ballot for the AGS poll for this week

NCA&T was 24 on mine and UCA was nowhere to be found on mine. I don't vote in the TSN poll.

I didn't realize he voted. I thought you guys kept out homer ballots. That sure seems like a clear homer ballot. If UTC wins the next 3 games then I would say they are definitely a 8-15 type team but what have they done in terms of wins and losses to prove they are a top 15 team?

I don't put much stock in polls, especially in the FCS, and kudos to TSN for the way they cover FCS; but defeating #24 and #7= #24= xlolx However, if you know our football history, we just roll with it, and are glad to be in the discussion.........UTM 2-1........none of you saw that coming, and none of US saw it coming as well......still better than being NR in the coaches poll..........and on this past "Given Saturday" the 'Hawks where indeed better than the Bears

Ok now you're pushing into fallacious territory. I do certainly think that Maine has been underrated, but to somehow assume that at 12-0, the black bears won't get voted in, is just plain silly, and borderline passive aggressive.

If you go to Evanston and win this weekend I guarantee you will make it in this poll.

Funny to think that you were one of the more knowledgeable voters that TSN purged from its voting a few years ago. Maybe if some of those folks like you were still voting in the TSN poll, it might have a better chance of being more accurate.

While many of your points are valid, I have to take exception to one. Have you seen Sacred Heart play yet this season? This is a vastly improved team that might have more talent than people realize. I have seen them play and I also happened to talk extensively on Sunday with one of the coaches who had played them (we just happened to be in the same place on Sunday and Sacred Heart became the topic of discussion). Sacred Heart is at least worthy of discussion as a possible top-25 team. To say, oh they need to win this many games to be considered is silly.

I have always tried in most cases to rank a team that has beaten another team ahead of that team, though sometimes there are extenuating circumstances where you can't, like Team A beats B, Team B beats Team C and Team C beats Team A. But when a ranked team loses to a non-ranked team, traditionally the TSN voters and, to a lesser extent, the coaches poll gets it wrong.

Scoreboard is all that matters. How does anyone know a team that you believe is underperforming will suddenly snap out of it?

With the TSN voters still voting the Bears in their top 25, it leads me to believe that they don't just look at the score but at the potential the team has and the circumstances that occurred at the game(s) they attended. You'll understand more as the year progresses. Mistakes have been made early and the Bears have to make it up with Mo. State and McNeese early, which is no easy task. Looking at UCA's past history shows they are slow starters, as are most teams with 4 road games and an FBS early in the year. But no excuses. It's time to put up or shut up. xthumbsupx
