I'm thinking about making a cut off line once scores start getting FAR apart. For example, I'm 13 points off the leader. With 11 games on average about to start falling to 6 due to SLC teams playing each other, it will be almost impossible to catch up points-wise. Whatcha think?

I'm not going to pick all the games as I have yet to do it for any league this year, but I will say I was very impressed with the athleticism of SELA. They will win a lot of ball games this year if they can play with more discipline, i.e., eliminate the turnovers and penalties.

Cowboys have nothing to bounce back from. They played great! West Alabama was just that good folks.

Remember UCA just got out of the conference they were in and played them yearly, along with North Alabama and Valdosta State. But a team like McNeese shouldn't let that game be even that close with their talent. So it's a bounce back IMO not from a close win but from not playing at the same level that beat USF.

I kinda thought the same about the UCA game last weekend. A former top 10 team team losing to an unranked team? WAU would have given the Bears fits last week as well. People can think what they want about that little DIi school. They have our respect and were faster than any team in the SLC.

DII isn't bad. I mean look at what UCA has done since arriving. Winning record vs. every team in the conference if I remember right. As for UT-Martin... they're an established FCS..

I sincerely hope he has a healthy senior season. Our leading senior rushers for the past 10 years or so have had the disconcerting habit of acquiring season-ending injuries.

Thats what I'm telling you. We DID play at the same level that we did vs USF!

west Alabama was just a hell of a lot better than USF.
