Jacks force 6 turnovers and only win by 8? I don't know, last couple weeks Jacks haven't exactly wowed me with their ability to put away teams. I think the conference is starting to look like it has a big drop after NDSU/UNI.

True. But SLU is pretty good and they run some odd defensive schemes. Their QB, despite the picks today, was the best player on the field. I'm betting they'll be a playoff team this year.

SDSU will be there at the end of the year for the playoffs. They have the same type of 'mentality' as the Bison. Run the ball, good defense and play the field position game. Nothing flashy but it gets the job done.

Zenner went for 128 today, 75 on one play and most of the rest late when the O-line was finally starting to figure out and lean on SLU's 3-3-5 defense. Jacks have a solid O-line. Need to get a little healthier on D-line and they'll be OK.

A late Kickoff return for TD helped make the score closer. It was 34-19 with 3:00 left. Our special teams play was god awful tonight. Just downright embarrassing.

why is it I could sit in the stands and say... they are going to run up the middle for 5-6, slant to the corner, over the middle for the first down... and be right 90 percent of the time and our D couldn't figure it out... SELA QB was very slippery and their lines were getting 5 yard pushes... just ugly all game. We were VERY lucky to get the win... the 6 turnovers were huge because the D was not getting stops the traditional way, they seemed to get yards at will all game. SELA is legit. Oh and our crowd, PATHETIC tonight until late 3rd qrt.

Yup to all of the above. I don't understand why people refuse to cheer or even clap. Why bother coming to the game if your not going to take your hands out of your pockets the entire night.

I came away very impressed with SE LA. A LOT of big boys on that squad that pushed us around all night. Not sure we had any business winning that game. Very good W for SDSU.
