I didn't even know the thing was actually underway until I just checked out ESPN.com. With a big college & pro weekend ahead, whats the chance you will take in any golf? 0% chance for me.

While the US stinks it up til Sunday, it has always been my favorite golf event. I just love beating the Euros, especially if given the chance to do so on their home course...
Stinks we have lots of no-names...hopefully we'll see Lucas Glover in 2008!

I will watch it. I am a big golf fan so I enjoy this type of competition.

I care, but the timing is horrible. Yesterday it was over long before I left work. Today and tomorrow I've got soccer games to attend. Hopefully catch some of the singles matches tomorrow.

Not to mention TIME DELAY! Went online this morning to check something and Dellnet opens with a headline with the score. Made watching the morning matches rather silly.
BTW, why are the Europeans so bent out of shape? Maybe I didn't pay close enough attention, but I didn't see anybody predicting a US victory. I think they're a bunch of assholes with inferiority complexes. :twocents:

The hype will heat up when the Ryder Cup moves stateside to Valhalla GC in 2008.

Don't care. Golf is not a team sport IMO.

I care a little, but it's hard to get excited about team golf, especially when they play fourballs and foursomes as a real team. The only time that happens is in contrived events like these (the President's Cup too) - otherwise, you would never see people play like this. Golf is an individual sport, and trying to doctor up a team aspect to it is just silly.
