I think you missed what it originally said. Before it said 'website temporarily suspended' it was a whole propaganda page geared towards Syria with most of it in Arabic and the browser page stated specifically it was hacked with the intention of spreading the truth.

As someone else pointed out, download the Firefox add-on Block Site (or other related add-on's for whatever browser you use). Then, blacklist "http://*cadiroig.cat/". Voila.

Usually around July/August the football sites start getting hit pretty hard with spam accounts etc. and the guy helping out with trying to keep that stuff at bay here for the last few weeks had said last night that many sites were getting the hack attempts. I don't have a link for you but do have what has been happening here. About an average of 60 attempted new accounts a day for the last month. Registering here is a lot tougher now than in the past unfortunately and a new guy posting has to pass several tests etc.

Hell, I just shut registration completely off for about a month.

I tossed that idea around a little bit last month and it would be the next step I think. There have literally been dozens and dozens of hours spent on this issue alone the last month. Hell, dozens is selling it short.

I think it is affected in some degree by the version of vBulletin software use by a particular site (this site, AGS, uses vBulletin). Bisonville now seems to be working for me but SDSU's forum is still being worked on and should be up and running soon.
