Howard's Greg McGhee and North Carolina A&T's D'Vonte Grant were named Offensive and Defensive Player's of the Week. Dominic Frescura, also of N.C. A&T, was named Rookie of the Week. B-CU's Alex Monroe was selected as the top Offensive Lineman and NCCU's Oleg Parent earned Special Teams Player of the Week accolades.
