The first OVC football weekly awards of the 2013 season went to the Eastern Illinois offensive line (Offensive Players of the Week), Eastern Illinois senior Alex McNulty (Defensive Player), EIU's Sheperd Little and TTU's Ladarius Vanlier (Co-Specialists) and Jacksonville State quarterback Max Shortell (Newcomer).
