Staten Island, NY - The defending Northeast Conference (NEC) champion Wagner Seahawks, led by dynamic fifth-year senior running back #Dominique Williams#, kick off the 2013 season by hosting* the Georgetown Hoyas of the Patriot League in a 1:00 pm start on Sat., August 31. The last time Wagner took the field at Hameline Field, the opponent was also a Patriot League member . On Nov. 24, 2012, the Green & White defeated Patriot League champion Colgate* 31-20 in the first round of the NCAA FCS Playoffs in front of a crowd in excess of 3,000 fans. The victory marked the first NCAA FCS Playoff win ever for an NEC team.
