Sometimes I do envy the fact that everything is close on the East Coast. Dover and Pocono back to back would be sweet. :)

It's a track better attended then watched on T.V. Because of the size of the track the TV broadcast does not capture much of anything that is going on. There was a lot of side by side even 3-4 wide racing from about 5th or 6th on back. Pocono was one of the 4 or 5 best tracks in NASCAR until the last 5 or 6 years when the aero packages changed and NASCAR started screwing with the cars. Sometimes when a few guys check out and are that much better it's not the tracks fault, it's the 35 other guys trying to catch them who's problem it is. It's also one of the few tracks left that's not an easy place to figure out because it's different. It's Daytona or Talladega without the plates, or like INDY but a little easier to pass. Hopefully they get the tire situation fixed in time for July.

I will have to respectfully disagree. I love the races at Pocono. I enjoy the big tracks with long straightways, and Pocono has tons of room for passing. Plus, it doesn't hurt when your favorite driver takes the pole, gets out to an early 8-second lead  , and then has a Top 5 Finish. :D
